This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains how Zenith Labs Limited (“Zenith Labs”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), the company that operates the KStyler personal-styling service, collects, uses, discloses, transfers, and protects your personal data when you use our website at mykstyler.com, our application at app.mykstyler.com, and any related features, content, and services (together, the “Service”).
Please read this Policy carefully. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood it. Where we rely on your consent — including to process the photographs and scans you provide — we will ask for that consent separately and you may withdraw it at any time. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Service.
Zenith Labs Limited is the controller responsible for your personal data under this Policy. For any privacy question or request, or to exercise your rights, contact us at admin@mykstyler.com. If you are in a region with a data-protection authority, you also have the right to complain to it (see Section 11).
To generate your report, the Service processes a facial selfie and a full-body scan that you capture. From these, our styling engine derives style attributes such as your personal colour season, body type, and proportions. Depending on where you live, your facial image and the features derived from it may be treated as biometric data or other sensitive or special-category personal data. We process this data only with your explicit consent and solely to provide the Service to you.
If you purchase a paid plan, payment is processed by a third-party payment processor. We receive confirmation of the transaction and limited billing details (such as plan, date, amount, and the last four digits of your card); we do not collect or store your full payment-card number.
We may receive information from our payment processor, analytics providers, and (if you choose to sign in through them) third-party sign-in services.
We use your personal data for the purposes below. Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) applies, the relevant legal basis is shown in brackets:
If you are in Hong Kong, we collect and use your personal data in line with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486), including its Data Protection Principles, and we use it only for the purposes described here and directly related purposes.
Your report is produced by automated analysis: our styling engine evaluates your inputs and returns a deterministic result (for example, your colour season and body type). This processing does not produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you. If you have questions about a result, you can contact us at admin@mykstyler.com and request that a member of our team review or explain it.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising or “targeted advertising”. We disclose personal data only as follows:
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember your preferences, measure performance, and (where you consent) for marketing. You can control these through our cookie banner and your browser or device settings. For details, see our Cookie Policy.
We operate internationally, so your personal data may be processed and stored in countries other than your own — including outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Hong Kong — where data-protection laws may differ. When we transfer personal data across borders, we put in place appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms, and we take reasonable steps to ensure your data remains protected in line with this Policy.
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy:
Residual copies in backups are removed on our routine backup cycle.
We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration — including encryption in transit, access controls, and restricting access to authorised personnel and processors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; where the law requires it, we will notify you and the relevant authority of a personal-data breach.
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights: to access your personal data; to correct or update it; to delete it; to restrict or object to certain processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing already carried out). You can exercise these rights, or close your account, by emailing admin@mykstyler.com. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. You can also authorise an agent to act on your behalf where the law allows.
If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the rights described above under the GDPR and may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).
If you are in Hong Kong, you may request access to and correction of your personal data under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, and you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD).
If you are a U.S. resident, you may have rights to know, access, delete, and correct your personal information, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended), and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. The categories of personal information we collect and disclose are described in Sections 3 and 6.
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at admin@mykstyler.com and we will take steps to delete it.
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party websites and services we do not control. This Policy does not apply to them, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where the changes are material, provide a more prominent notice or seek your consent where required. Your continued use of the Service after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Policy.
